Stress and misalignment of the spine can negatively impact your child's overall health, behavior, and development. As a parent, you want to protect your child from pain and sickness, and with our chiropractic treatment, we'll be able to help correct underlying issues before they affect development. Pediatric Care may help improve the following:
Chiropractic care is entirely safe for children of all ages, and our chiropractic clinic understands the needs of children. Stress and trauma to the body and spine can begin with the birthing process. It is easy for an infant's spine to become misaligned from the intense pressure involved with birth, both natural and Cesarean. Throughout the infant and toddler stage, babies may sleep in awkward positions or occasionally take a tumble. Luckily, their bodies are very resilient and can take a lot of force, though these injuries can develop into patterns of movement that can cause a child's bones to misalign over time. Gentle and non-invasive adjustments to the spine will help children become relaxed, and most children even fall asleep after their treatment. These adjustments provide support for a pain-free and positive childhood.
Chiropractic treatments for a child begin with an extensive examination to determine the exact issue and the best treatment route. Even if your child isn't old enough to communicate or is shy, our chiropractor has the skills to work with them to find out what is bothering them before proceeding with treatment.
Our team at Forsyth Spinal Rehabilitation and Chiropractic has experience providing chiropractic care for children, and we understand that children's bodies are quite different compared to adults.
Dr. Seaney took me in on an emergency situation. He actually met me at the door and held it open while I hobbled in on crutches. After listening to me attentively he preformed an adjustment which releaved my pain 80%, and I was able to walk out without crutches and stand up straight. We made another appointment for a few days later, and at this appointment I shared with him that I had lost the ability to raise my toes off the floor when standing. Hearing this, he showed great concern and immediately, before the second treatment for pain, ordered an MRI. I learned that Dr. Seaney studied under my former chiropractor (now retired), and has the greatest of credintials. It helps to know that you're trusting your health, nervous system and body to someone who actually cares about his clients!!!! *
JNCumming, GeorgiaI've been going to Forsyth Spinal Rehab for over 2 months, after my car was totaled. I'm already feeling so much better. They are professional and courteous and know how to fix the back. I'd give 6 stars if I could. I have 4 bulging discs that have caused major pain and disability. I highly recommend them. *
RBCumming, GeorgiaI have been seeing Dr. Seaney for a couple of weeks now. He is a wonderful chiropractor. He has been working so hard to solve my issue and my pain has gone from a 9 to a 3. RMCumming, GeorgiaDr Seaney is amazing! He has helped my husband and I so much.! My husband had back surgery last year and he started having numbness and pain again. He has helped so much more then even the surgery did. I wish we had gone to him in the first place before making the decision to have the surgery. He has helped with my neck pain and back pain after a bad fall that I had. If you are looking for relief when it comes to back or neck pain, he is the doctor to see first. He also has a fantastic bedside manor and truly cares about his patients! *
