Our Cumming chiropractor treats a wide range of acute and chronic sports-related injuries. We understand that when you play sports, you physically push your body to its limits, which can sometimes result in an injury, like a sprain, strain, or tendinitis. Sports Injury Care may help improve the following:
Chiropractors have taken on a more advanced role in sports science since understanding the neuromusculoskeletal system can help increase performance and prevent the breakdown of an athlete's body. Any physical trauma, on or off the field, can produce physical stress and shift the spine's vertebra. These shifts are called subluxations and significantly impact pain, fatigue, recovery, performance, and overall health. If left untreated, a misaligned spine, even the slightest kink, or a postural issue can cause aches, low energy, and other severe conditions throughout your body.
Our sports injury chiropractor in Cumming utilizes a variety of non-invasive methods and techniques to help you get relief and get back to your athletic activities more reliably than ever before. Once you have healed from your sports injury, it's a good idea to have ongoing aftercare and maintenance. Whether a professional or amateur athlete, regular treatments and follow-ups are a great way to maintain your physical conditioning, improve your mobility, and keep acute injuries under control.
If you're interested in restoring and improving your performance and well-being through natural, non-invasive chiropractic care, contact Forsyth Spinal Rehabilitation and Chiropractic today at (770) 888-9265 to schedule a consultation.
Dr. Seaney took me in on an emergency situation. He actually met me at the door and held it open while I hobbled in on crutches. After listening to me attentively he preformed an adjustment which releaved my pain 80%, and I was able to walk out without crutches and stand up straight. We made another appointment for a few days later, and at this appointment I shared with him that I had lost the ability to raise my toes off the floor when standing. Hearing this, he showed great concern and immediately, before the second treatment for pain, ordered an MRI. I learned that Dr. Seaney studied under my former chiropractor (now retired), and has the greatest of credintials. It helps to know that you're trusting your health, nervous system and body to someone who actually cares about his clients!!!! *
JNCumming, GeorgiaI've been going to Forsyth Spinal Rehab for over 2 months, after my car was totaled. I'm already feeling so much better. They are professional and courteous and know how to fix the back. I'd give 6 stars if I could. I have 4 bulging discs that have caused major pain and disability. I highly recommend them. *

RMCumming, GeorgiaDr Seaney is amazing! He has helped my husband and I so much.! My husband had back surgery last year and he started having numbness and pain again. He has helped so much more then even the surgery did. I wish we had gone to him in the first place before making the decision to have the surgery. He has helped with my neck pain and back pain after a bad fall that I had. If you are looking for relief when it comes to back or neck pain, he is the doctor to see first. He also has a fantastic bedside manor and truly cares about his patients! *
