When you have chronic pain, it can affect everything you do in your life. Having daily pain is no way to live, especially when the pain is in an avoidable area. At Forsyth Spinal Rehabilitation and Chiropractic, we offer a non-invasive therapy to help you recover from injuries and quickly overcome related pain. Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is a safe treatment alternative to surgery and may benefit patients who had no success with traditional treatment approaches. Shockwave Therapy may help improve the following:
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) has been a physical therapy modality for 20 years. Professional athletes in respected organizations like the NBA plagued by injuries have received ESWT and recovered with great success for many years. This therapy effectively treats sports injuries, tendon injuries, ligament injuries, muscle pain, and other soft tissue injuries.
Shockwave Therapy is a trigger point treatment that uses acoustic waves or shockwaves to induce microtrauma to injured tissues. The microtraumas stimulate repair processes, like neovascularization, which is the formation of new blood vessels. Neovascularization helps increase blood flow to damaged tissues, deliver essential nutrients for healing, and relieve pain symptoms.
So, get started relieving your injury-related pain and accelerating your recovery by scheduling a consultation at Forsyth Spinal Rehabilitation and Chiropractic in Cumming for Shockwave Therapy.
Dr. Seaney took me in on an emergency situation. He actually met me at the door and held it open while I hobbled in on crutches. After listening to me attentively he preformed an adjustment which releaved my pain 80%, and I was able to walk out without crutches and stand up straight. We made another appointment for a few days later, and at this appointment I shared with him that I had lost the ability to raise my toes off the floor when standing. Hearing this, he showed great concern and immediately, before the second treatment for pain, ordered an MRI. I learned that Dr. Seaney studied under my former chiropractor (now retired), and has the greatest of credintials. It helps to know that you're trusting your health, nervous system and body to someone who actually cares about his clients!!!! *
JNCumming, GeorgiaI've been going to Forsyth Spinal Rehab for over 2 months, after my car was totaled. I'm already feeling so much better. They are professional and courteous and know how to fix the back. I'd give 6 stars if I could. I have 4 bulging discs that have caused major pain and disability. I highly recommend them. *
RBCumming, GeorgiaI have been seeing Dr. Seaney for a couple of weeks now. He is a wonderful chiropractor. He has been working so hard to solve my issue and my pain has gone from a 9 to a 3. RMCumming, GeorgiaDr Seaney is amazing! He has helped my husband and I so much.! My husband had back surgery last year and he started having numbness and pain again. He has helped so much more then even the surgery did. I wish we had gone to him in the first place before making the decision to have the surgery. He has helped with my neck pain and back pain after a bad fall that I had. If you are looking for relief when it comes to back or neck pain, he is the doctor to see first. He also has a fantastic bedside manor and truly cares about his patients! *
